WHAT IS YOUR AREA OF EXPERTISE?
I am foraging permaculturist with a knack for wild edibles and 6th sense for hidden mushrooms.
WHEN DID YOU KNOW IT WAS LOVE?
I collected a humongous amanita muscaria when I was 7 years old in hopes of drying it on a rack over a tiny packet of desiccant that I took from a shoe box. The desiccant didn't work and my bathroom was infested with maggots and flies, but I kept at it- continuing to collect and identify mushrooms all my life afterward.
WHAT IS YOUR FAVOURITE THING ABOUT WHAT YOU DO?
The feeling of spiritual connection with the earth.
ONE THING PEOPLE DON'T USUALLY KNOW ABOUT WHAT YOU DO:
I take a sustainable approach to foraging through a permaculture lens and all of this knowledge stems from indigenous wisdom.

My parents are deaf so my first language is ASL and I am an advocate for deaf rights.
